Next forum - open for registration!
The 17th PhysChem Forum is open for registration. It will take place on 17th and 18th April 2018, and will be hosted by Roche at their site at Basel, Switzerland. The forum topic is "New therapeutic modalities: opportunities and challenges", and will look at the physchem aspects of peptide and protein-based therapeutics and RNA and DNA oligonucleotides. The scietific programme and registration details are available here.
There is a recognised need within the physical chemistry (phys chem) and ADMET (Absorption Distribution Metabolism Excretion Toxicity) industry for a forum for discussion between those scientists carrying out practical research and analytical work. There have been a number of extremely high quality international meetings covering all aspects of this field and while the papers presented have been cutting edge there has been limited scope for bench scientists to meet in a more informal setting with a view to presenting current work and a discussion of challenges that were overcome and those yet to be faced. Furthermore these meetings have generally been expensive precluding multiple attendees from smaller departments.
Our goal is to generate an environment for informed debate and discussion in a non-commercial setting with excellent networking opportunities.
