PhysChem FORUM 5Registration is now closed. IntroductionPhysChem Forum are pleased to announce our fifth Physical Chemistry Symposium, to be held at GSK, Stevenage, UK on Thursday 19th June 2008. Participants are invited to arrive at the Letchworth Hall Hotel, Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire for registration and a keynote speech the previous evening and then the symposium sessions will be held all day. All posters are welcome but presentations are reserved for non-commercial work. Who Should Attend?Scientists who have been actively involved in driving forward this area of the industry within their own institutions. LecturesThe programme will comprise a mixture of presentations and posters with ample opportunity dedicated to questions. The afternoon will include a discussion forum and we will be encouraging questions to be submitted in advance of the symposium or during the morning coffee and lunch breaks. PostersA prize, sponsored by Sirius Analytical, will be awarded for the best poster. Welcome Dinner and AccommodationWe shall be holding a 'Welcome Dinner', including a key-note speech by Professor Robert C Glen (Unilever Centre for Molecular Informatics, Cambridge), in the Marston Suite at the Letchworth Hall Hotel, Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire on Wednesday 18th June (the evening before the symposium). Please note that the cost of the pre-symposium dinner is £26 (excluding drinks). Hotel residents will be able to pay this along with their room fee at checkout. Non-residents will need to pay for their dinner at the registration desk (cash only). 50 Rooms have been reserved for delegates; the hotel facilities are superb and include a Fitness suite and Swimming pool. If you wish for a room to be allocated to you please advise us of this with your registration, a provisional booking will then be made on your behalf. The room tariff is £69. This includes breakfast and complimentary use of the fitness suite and swimming pool. We only have 50 rooms available so early registration is recommended. Please do not book directly with the hotel as we have negotiated a very special rate which is only available if booked through us. Coach transport from the hotel to the GSK site will be provided on the morning of the 19th June RegistrationRegistration is now closed. There is no charge for this meeting. Attendance will only be allowed with prior registration. The deadline for registrations is 28th May 2008. Hotel bookings will not be placed after this date.
