Introduction

PhysChem Forum are pleased to announce our fourth Physical Chemistry Symposium, to be held at UCB, Brussels, Belgium on Friday 30th November 2007.

Participants are invited to arrive at the Hotel Nivelle Sud, Brussels for registration and a keynote speech the previous evening and then the symposium sessions will be held all day.

All posters are welcome but presentations are reserved for non-commercial work.

Who Should Attend?

Scientists who have been actively involved in driving forward this area of the industry within their own institutions.

Lectures

The programme will comprise a mixture of presentations and posters with ample opportunity dedicated to questions. The afternoon will include a discussion forum and we will be encouraging questions to be submitted in advance of the symposium or during the morning coffee and lunch breaks.

Welcome Dinner

We shall be holding a 'Welcome Dinner', including a key-note speech by Jennifer Dressman (Professor of Pharmaceutical Technology, JW Goethe University, Frankfurt), at the Hotel Nivelle Sud, Brussels on Thursday 29th November (the evening before the symposium).

Please note that the cost of the pre-conference dinner is €28 (excluding drinks) and this will need to be paid along with the delegate room fee (€80 including breakfast) at the hotel check out.

There is no charge for this meeting. Attendance will only be allowed with prior registration.

The deadline for registrations was 31st October 2007. Hotel bookings will not be placed after this date.

50 rooms have been reserved for delegates at the Hotel Nivelle Sud (http://www.hotelnivellessud.be/en/restaurant.htm), if you wish one of these to be allocated to you please advise this with your registration details and a provisional booking will be made on your behalf.

Transport will be provided from this hotel to the symposium.

Acknowledgements

It is the intention of the PhysChem FORUM to maintain the meeting as free to attend for all delegates. Therefore we cannot cover any expense costs incurred, including those of the pre-conference dinner, however we are grateful to the host company, UCB, for providing the venue and catering on the day of the conference and the provision of transport from the local hotel to the UCB site for the conference meeting.
